A genial, genuine rescue vessel
The Olav Ringdal Jr was built in 1952 in Risør as a rescue vessel. The boat was mostly stationed in the Barents Sea and the North Sea. She has braved a lot of storms and excelled in many of the rescues she has performed. The boat has saved 44 lives and assisted 607 vessels in distress.
The Olav Ringdal Jr is preserved as a rescue vessel, but her interior has been renewed. She now has two lounges and three cabins. On the aft deck there is a pleasant lounge where you can enjoy food and drink. Here you will keep warm even if the weather is cold.
