Hardangerfjorden

Join the fruit flower ring rich

The 183 km long Hardangerfjord is Norway's second longest fjord. It consists of about twenty fjord arms and is constantly changing its name. Sørfjorden and Eidfjorden are the most famous parts.

Hardanger is like a playpen. The landscape around the Hardangerfjord alternates between fjords and mountains, dramatic waterfalls and glaciers, romantic orchards and green hamlets. Many painters, poets and composers have found their inspiration here.

This opens up a panorama you hardly thought was real. Nature comes to life.

The culture and traditions are strong in Hardanger. Hardanger Folk Museum at Utne connects the present and the past. Hardanger Vessel Protection Center in Norheimsund takes care of the wooden boat traditions in the fjord.

A fjord cruise on the Hardangerfjord is an unforgettable experience.
