Herdla is a separate island by a bridge north of Askøy and having traveled along the rather barren west of Askøy, reveals Herdla as a haven large flat areas,sheltered coves and sandy beaches. Laxeneset is a private peninsula at about. 15 goals and here is Herdlevågen Guesthouses and Herdla Fjordhytter.
