Herdla is a separate island with a bridge connection north of Askøy and after traveling along the rather barren west side of Askøy, Herdla reveals itself as a green oasis with large flat areas, sheltered coves and beautiful sandy beaches. Laxeneset is a separate peninsula of approx. 15 goals and here are Herdlevågen Gjestehus and Herdla Fjordhytter.
Laxeneset at Herdla stands out as a calm, scenic and inspiring meeting place when people who work together get to know each other better and the tasks they are set to perform. Only 40 minutes drive from Bergen city center and still "far out in the country".
Guesthouse is located directly on the seafront with great views over the Herdlefjord and towards Holsnøy. Herdla Fjordhytter is located in the same area and is used as supplementary accommodation in addition to being rented out to holiday guests during the summer months.
The facility was rebuilt and modernized in 2002. Since then, it has been continuously upgraded and now appears as a temporary facility for small and medium-sized courses and conferences.
In the conference hall, there is capacity for 45 people in classroom layouts and 80 people in cinema layouts. Here is large screen, video cannon, overhead projector, flipchart and wireless internet. Outside you can relax by benches and tables, right on the seafront overlooking the fjord.
The restaurant and bars downstairs have a capacity of approx. 100 guests. The guesthouse has all licensing rights.
