S / S Statsraad Lehmkuhl is the world's largest 3-masted bark. Renting the characteristic ship is an old dream for those in Bergen who love boating. At the same time, there is no shortage of inquiries about renting it for events elsewhere in Norway, or abroad for that matter. Only the impressive destinations on the State Council are a strong experience for most of the passengers - both while sailing and at berth. An evening at the State Council will in any case be the highlight of an event.
The regular archipelago trips to Statsraad Lehmkuhl take place in the evening, and have a duration of approximately 5 hours, but the ship is also available for rent at the customer's request. If you want to rent a boat to give your guests a large-scale experience, the old school ship is a safe bet. When boarding, most people are immediately gripped by the impressive dimensions, where over 2000 square meters of sails line the almost 50 meter high masts. Eventually, the spirit of hundreds of thousands of nautical miles traveled also enters the guests, and together with the idea of new-year school discipline and the millions of drops of sweat that are embedded in each shiny deck plank, the experience becomes a memory for life:
She is Norway's most beautiful! Largest, oldest, full of memories from that time… Precious wood, polished brass, creaking wood. Statsraad Lehmkuhl smells of nostalgia, tar and ramsalt sea. She has not changed much since 1914. Beautifully restored! A thought modernized! She is a dream…
If sailing on the blue wave is not on the wish list, Statsraad Lehmkuhl can also be rented when it is at the quay. This primarily appliesbefore 16.00on days when she goes on an archipelago trip in the evening.
