S/S Christiania is a traditional Borgå sailing vessel built in 1948. Its bright guest saloon seats 95, creating a distinctive setting for dining and gathering.
S/S Christiania is a Finnish "Borgåskute", built as late as 1948 with sail as the main means of propulsion. After total restoration in Oslo, she appears today as the largest and most beautiful example of this type of vessel. Her 550 square meter sail makes her an exceptionally smooth sailing boat, and her lines an attraction in the city.
The guest lounge is open and bright, and has room for 95 guests. Here, the boat's solid dimensions come to the fore, with a width of 7.5 meters and with timber work that you rarely see the likes of. It is our pleasure to welcome you aboard the fjord's most beautiful sailing ship!
