Future Of The Fjords

Future of the Fjords - 400 pax

Future of the Fjords is the sister ship to Vision of the Fjords and builds on the experiences from there. The boat is the first of its kind with fully electric operation. In addition to being very environmentally friendly, the boat is also designed in such a way that it is very comfortable and suitable for sightseeing, including for wheelchair users.

Environmentally friendly

Future of the Fjords is the pioneer in environmentally friendly sea transport. The boat is, like most of the other boats we offer, built in carbon fibre. This means that the boat is significantly lighter than if it had been built in aluminium. Due to this weight reduction, emissions are up to 40% lower than if the boat had been built in aluminium.

In addition, the boat is completely battery powered. This means that the boat is not only quiet, but also emission-free. In addition to saving the world and the local area from emissions, the experience gained from this boat will also be used to make the fast boat market greener.

Comfortable

Future of the Fjords is a boat where the passengers are the focus. The boat is built for sightseeing in the Nærøyfjord, and is certainly not like other speedboats. The design of the boat is inspired by the opera in Oslo and the design means that there is extra space to enjoy the view outside. Because the speed is 16 knots, it is possible to furnish the boat with a much more passenger-friendly design with large saloons.

The boat is also built with extra large windows suitable for sightseeing.
